More support for EOS 5D Mark II
The Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in provides fast and easy access to Canon RAW image files. The latest version is Camera Raw 5.3 and it includes support for the EOS 5D Mark II. This version of Camera Raw is only compatible with Photoshop CS4. If you are still using Photoshop C3 or earlier, you won't have direct access to the EOS 5D Mark II files.
A simple solution is to open the files in Canon's Digital Photo Professional (DPP) software and then use the 'Convert and save' menu option to save as TIFF files. These files will open in any version of Photoshop. Alternatively, download the free Adobe DNG converter and use this to convert the RAW files to the DNG format. DNG is supported by all Photoshop CS versions.

The latest version of Google Picasa also supports the EOS 5D Mark II. Google Picasa is a software editing and management program for both RAW and JPEG images - and it is free. It will run on Windows XP, Vista and Mac OS X. For more information click here
